This exercise is also to demonstrate
ARRAY command in AutoCAD.
 
This exercise is supposed to be done
individually without the help of the
the trainer to test the student
understandings.
 
We must first draw the center lines
of the new gear in getting the center
coordinate point of the gear.
 
The center coordinate point will be
entered in the ARRAY dialog box.

We will also teach you how to edit
parameters of an object by using the
Properties Box.
 
Parameters such as radius, diameter,
line weight, line type, thickness & etc.
 
You can also change the object color
from the Properties Box.
 
The properties box will also show us
some informations that might be
useful for us like Area, Circumference
and many more.

In this exercise, we will try to draw
a basic 2D floor plan layout with real
measurements using the techniques
that we have learned.
 
Unit measurements & Unit Scaling
terminolgy will be explained clearly
in this exercise.
 
You will learn how to BLOCK a
portion of your drawing and insert it
into your AutoCAD database. You will
also learn how to apply the AutoCAD
blocks & apply them onto your layout.
